The
University Master in Informatics Engineering, linked to the profession
of Informatics Engineer, combines advanced education in issues on
Technology Management and issues in Technical aspects on Informatics
Engineering. The program intends to accomplish its goal of producing
professionals being able to adequately perform the profession of
Informatics Engineer.
The program is fully adapted to the recommendations for the verification of Official Graduate Programs for the profession of Informatics Engineer, from the Spanish University Screateriat (published on Spanish Official Bulletin on August, 4th 2009).
The Master has 90 ECTS and is offered in two modes: Spanish and bilingual (Spanish-English). The bilingual offering has more than 50% of courses offered in English. The courses are distributed in three semesters and organized in the following modules:

- Technology Management: Provides advanced education in legal issues, technology based firms’ management, strategic planning and project management, paying special attention to R&D and innovation management.
- Informatics Technologies: Allows advancing in several technological aspects of Informatics Engineering to provide students a global view and detailed knowledge of such aspects.
- Master Thesis: Students will perform an integral professional project in the context Informatics Engineering.
